LOS ALTOS, California
Oct. 4, 2001 – Aton International, Inc. announced today that the company will be releasing the Aton Connect for the Microsoft Windows-Powered Pocket PC 2002 Software on December 1, 2001. This ActiveX component, optimized for the Compaq IPAQ, will allow corporate IT departments the ability to provide their mobile workforce with access to data on their mid-range and mainframe computers.
The Aton Connect provides for multiple 3278 terminal emulation sessions and allows the Compaq IPAQ application program to interface through a virtual

wish to maintain full control over the user experience using the modern GUI oriented presentation methods of Pocket PC 2002.
The Aton Connect terminal emulation will also be available for the Windows XP desktop, Windows .NET servers, and Windows XP Embedded systems. All
versions of the product allow virtual terminal access to mainframe systems such as CICS, VM/CMS, MVS, and other systems that support the TN 3270 Internet protocol.
