— Aton International, Inc., Specialists in Mobile Device Integration, Data Access and Smart Client software, today announced it is offering new service packages for mobile and embedded system software development. These Service Packages, starting at $2850 USD, are targeted to Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and System Integrators (SIs) or Value Added Resellers (VARs).

Aton offers three types of service packages. They are:
- Software Analysis and Planning -- Microsoft Windows XP Embedded Jumpstart,
- Software Analysis and Planning -- Microsoft Windows Mobile Pocket PC Jumpstart, and
- Mobile and Embedded Engineering and Consulting Services Packages
The Software Analysis and Planning service packages provide the key information that managers need to move an existing product to the Windows Embedded, Windows CE or Pocket PC
platforms faster and with less risk. Senior level staff provide expert guidance on potential problem areas to allow the client to get the new product to market sooner.
The Engineering and Consulting service packages allow for iterative development of software.
Each package spans a small, one to four week increment of engineering time with a defined deliverable and a fixed cost.
The new service packages make it easy to start work quickly, and add or change requirements in successive increments, as needed.
At the completion of each increment, clients have the ability to allocate the next increment to the most appropriate resources. This method of working in short time increments with defined deliverables is ideally suited for solving urgent problems, filling gaps or jumpstarting development while employees are being hired. It offers the ultimate blend of flexibility and control.
