Aton Connect for Windows Mobile works by connecting to your company’s existing host access servers using terminal emulation
. The software combines a .NET component connecting to the host via terminal emulation with a user interface that looks like the screen of a host server
terminal, either TN3270 (IBM System z or zSeries), TN5250 (IBM System i or iSeries) or VT220 (Linux/Unix Telnet). The screen looks very similar to
the desktop terminal emulator you already use. Aton Connect lets you take advantage of the infrastructure your company already has and takes it mobile.

(displayed on the screen) or using the device’s built in keyboard if it has one, and

- font face, font size, and session screen colors can be adjusted "on the fly" even while a live terminal session is in progress. Aton Connect works
seamlessly with the Windows Mobile system to allow messages and voice phone calls to pop up in front of the host session screen. Once you have finished the call or
task, you can go back to the session still running in the background.
Tool Tips & Help - tool tips and help integrated into Aton Connect assist new users to navigate the program. The help system also lists how to use the hardware
keyboard to generate all 3270 and 5250 terminal special function codes.
Backward Compatibility - No
need to buy the newest devices. Aton Connect full screen display is supported on Windows Mobile 2003, Mobile 5.0, and Mobile 6 for Pocket PC.
Microsoft Compact Framework 2.0 (free download from Microsoft available) may need to be installed if it is not already present on the Pocket PC.
