Software Designed to Change With Your Needs
Aton Connect software can be used to view mainframe data in two ways. Right out of
the box, you can view mainframe data in the traditional 3270 “green screen” format. But the greatest value from our products comes from using its .NET component to build a “Smart
Client” application. An ASP.NET web component is in development.
“Smart Client” and ASP.NET applications can display selected mainframe data on the
screen in a way that improves productivity and reduces errors. It can also allow continued access to that mainframe data even when the device is disconnected from the
wireless network. Building applications with Aton Connect and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2005 is a great way to quickly get mainframe data to workers in a more usable form.
